Top 8 Retail Store Fixture Manufacturers in the USA (2026 Guide)

Looking for a retail store fixture manufacturer in the USA — or one who can build in Asia and deliver into the US? This guide covers eight manufacturers that US retailers and brand rollout teams actually evaluate, and the five questions that matter more than unit price.

Store fixtures are rarely bought as a single item. A rollout needs counters, wall units, display cases, shelving and cash wraps that match each other, arrive together, and fit a plan somebody has already signed off. That is why the choice of manufacturer shapes the whole programme.

How this list was compiled

Every entry below was compiled from the manufacturer's own public website content. Where a capability is not published there, the entry says so. Nothing here is a rating or a recommendation — treat it as a starting point for your own diligence, and move every line you care about from "the website says it" into the contract.

1. Lux Design & Construction

Hong Kong (2006) · Guangzhou (2005) · manufacturing in Qingyuan, China

A design-led fixture manufacturer and retail space contractor. The group runs a three-location structure: a Hong Kong entity for overseas contracts and international settlement, a Guangzhou design and business centre, and a self-owned Qingyuan production base for showcases, counters, wall units and complete store furniture.

What stands out: manufacturing is not separated from design. Curved and irregular structures are drawn by the people who will build them, which removes the most common source of dimensional mismatch in a rollout. Free 3D and CAD design is provided from your floor plan, and delivery can be quoted on a DDP basis — duties and customs paid to the door.

Cross-border delivery is handled in-house: export documentation, destination-market compliance coordination and logistics. Design teams are stationed across Europe, Hong Kong and mainland China, which matters when brand standards are set in one time zone and executed in another.

Scale: a design and production team of 40+, own production lines plus a long-standing partner factory network, 4,246 m² of manufacturing space, 3,500+ customers served, 450,000+ fixtures delivered, projects in 30+ countries — primarily North America, Oceania and Western and Southern Europe. Team experience in retail fixture manufacturing exceeds 40 years. Certifications: CE, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, EN 13501-1 Class C, RoHS.

Best for: brands wanting design, manufacturing and cross-border delivery from one supplier, with duties fixed in the contract.

2. Jahabow

Owensville, Missouri, USA

A manufacturer of commercial retail display cases for jewelry, luxury, pawn, sporting goods and cannabis retail. Jahabow states that all of its manufacturing is done at its Owensville, MO facilities, and the capability list is unusually broad for a fixture maker: wood and laminate manufacturing, glass fabrication, metal fabrication, solid surface fabrication, and lighting plus electrical.

What stands out: security. Jahabow is the industry leader in secure display cases with its TDL Series, and states it is the inventor of the TDL (Theft Deterrent Level) Criteria for loss prevention. For high-value merchandise that is a meaningful claim to test — ask how the rating is defined and how it is verified on the delivered unit.

The company states it was founded over 50 years ago, builds to "Made in U.S.A." and offers fast lead times compared with the typical import cycle.

Best for: secure, US-made case programmes, especially where theft deterrence is a specification rather than a preference.

3. Tecno Display

Sparks, Nevada, USA

A US-based manufacturer of glass display cases for retail, museums, galleries, universities and commercial interiors. Its jewelry display case line is described as built for secure presentation with LED lighting, tempered glass and premium finishes. Address on file: 676 Dunn Circle, Sparks, NV 89431. The company states it has been building display cases for over 45 years, and that every showcase is built in the USA.

What stands out: a genuine custom fabrication capability — dimensions, finishes, lighting, shelving, locking and security requirements are all built to specification — plus a Quick Ship programme on selected best-selling cases. For a US retailer needing a replacement or a single showcase quickly, that combination is hard to match from overseas.

Best for: US buyers who need custom-size cases or a fast replacement without an ocean freight lead time.

4. Displayarama

Hollywood, Florida, USA

A retail fixture supplier and manufacturer serving retailers nationwide from a Florida warehouse, with a stated 40+ years in the industry. The range covers slatwall panels, display cases, gondola shelving, gridwall, mannequins and related accessories — enough to fit out a whole store rather than a single category.

What stands out: stated in-stock depth. Displayarama says it typically holds up to 7,000 slatwall panels in its warehouse across 12+ core colours and finishes, ships to all 50 states, and crates orders at no extra charge to prevent freight damage. Its own published comparison of its Grade A MDF panels against big-box Grade C panels — claiming 10–15 years of heavy commercial use and up to 100 lbs per bracket with aluminium inserts — is a useful prompt to ask any supplier for a grade specification in writing.

Also offers store design, layout planning and build-out coordination, plus a free 2D store layout plan.

Best for: US retailers who need broad fixture categories in stock, fast, from a domestic warehouse.

5. King Retail Solutions

US-based

A full-service retail design and build partner. KRS describes its own scope as brand strategy, environmental design, custom fabrication and nationwide installation, and lists five service lines: retail interior design, custom fixture production, nationwide installation services, commercial equipment and layout, and retail site surveys.

Its stated industries are convenience, grocery, restaurant, franchise and specialty retail. Its published project list is grocery-heavy, including work with several regional grocery chains and quick-service restaurant brands.

Worth knowing: the industry mix is deliberately not jewelry-led. If your project is a grocery, convenience or food-service rollout rather than a specialty store, KRS's profile is a closer match than a jewelry specialist's would be. Judging suppliers by category fit — rather than by size — is the fastest filter in this list.

Best for: convenience, grocery and food-service rollouts needing design, fabrication and installation under one provider.

6. Miller Zell

US-based

A branded environments firm that states it has 60 years of experience, 22+ environmental designers, and 10,000 store installations annually, supported by a 325,000 sq ft on-site print production and logistics centre. The company began as a wide-format printer and expanded into design and implementation — design, prototyping, manufacturing and installation, all under one roof.

Its capabilities are experiential design, branded environments, production, brand rollout, and programme management. Published client work includes large national retailers and restaurant chains.

Worth knowing: the strength is large-scale brand rollout — wayfinding, in-store branding elements, décor and programme management across hundreds or thousands of locations — rather than bespoke millwork for a single high-end store. If your need is a one-off flagship with unusual fabrication, this is a different shape of supplier.

Best for: national brand programmes and multi-site rollouts where consistency across hundreds of stores is the objective.

7. Ardent Displays

US-based

An award-winning, vertically integrated designer, manufacturer and global distributor of point-of-purchase displays, retail fixtures, signage and décor, stating operations since 1987 and Fortune 1000 clients. Core lines are POP displays, retail store fixtures, and retail signage and décor.

Worth knowing: the centre of gravity is merchandising — POP units, promotional displays and signage — rather than full store fit-out millwork. That makes them relevant if your fixture programme includes branded display and promotional units alongside permanent fixtures.

Best for: branded merchandising and POP display programmes, including global distribution.

8. Ouyee Display

Guangzhou, China — delivering into the US and Europe

An import option worth comparing against the domestic manufacturers above. Ouyee states free 3D design and space planning with a design team of 30+, operates its own production factory, and runs a chain of design, manufacturing, export and installation guidance with door-to-door shipping to the US, Europe and the Middle East.

Worth knowing: its published pricing states that import duties and taxes are not included and remain the buyer's responsibility. That single line changes the landed cost — always compare quotes on a delivered-duty-paid basis, not unit price.

Best for: cost-sensitive projects with a programme long enough to absorb an ocean freight cycle.

The five questions that decide the shortlist

1. Are the design team and the factory the same company?

This is the most common failure point in a rollout. When design and manufacturing are separate businesses, the curved counter in the render becomes expensive or impossible in production. Drawing and building inside one company removes a whole category of change order.

2. Does the quote state DDP, and does it name the destination?

FOB and EXW leave duties, customs brokerage, port storage and demurrage on your side. Those items routinely exceed the price difference between suppliers, and they appear only when the goods reach port. Compare landed cost to door, not unit price.

3. How much of the fabrication is in-house?

Wood, glass, metal, solid surface, lighting and electrical — every process a manufacturer subcontracts is a process where tolerances can drift. Jahabow's single-site capability list is the benchmark to measure others against.

4. What are the acceptance criteria?

Dimensional tolerance, surface finish grade, hardware brand and packing method should all be written into the contract. Arguing about whether a 2 mm gap is out of tolerance after the crates are open is a losing position.

5. Can they show installed work in your market?

Renders are cheap. Installed photographs from projects in your destination market are the real evidence — and on an import programme, evidence of export packing and documentation matters as much as the finished fixture.

Where to go next

Fixture sourcing is a landed-cost and interface problem, not a catalogue problem. Fix the responsibility boundary — who builds, who ships, who clears, who installs — in writing before you compare prices.
