Gridwall Display Systems: Custom Wire Grid Panels From the Factory

A gridwall panel looks like the simplest thing in a shop and behaves like the most abused one. It gets leaned on, loaded unevenly, moved every time the layout changes, and judged by whether it still stands straight after a season of that.

We manufacture gridwall panels, freestanding gridwall units and the hooks, shelves and bins that go with them in our own factory, so the wire gauge, the mesh pitch and the foot design are built for the load you describe rather than for a photograph.

Mesh pitch and wire gauge are the real specification

A gridwall is a wire grid, and two numbers decide how it performs: the pitch between wires and the gauge of the wire itself. A 75 mm pitch takes standard hooks and shelves and stays compatible with the fittings most shops already own. Thinner wire at the same pitch looks identical in a listing and sags under a 10 kg shelf, so we quote the wire diameter in millimetres on the drawing and hold it in production.

Finish: chrome, black or powder coat

Chrome gridwall suits fashion and cosmetics and shows every fingerprint. Black gridwall disappears against a dark interior and is the more forgiving choice for hardware, vapes and streetwear. Powder-coated panels in a colour to match your fixtures are the third option, and we send a physical colour chip rather than a screen colour, because two blacks on the same wall is the mistake you notice from the door.

Standing up, or hanging on the wall

Freestanding gridwall needs a base that does not walk. We build T-base and H-base feet in steel with levelling glides, and we size the base to the panel height so a 1800 mm panel does not lever itself over when a customer leans on the top. Wall-mounted panels get stand-off brackets that keep the grid clear of the plaster, which is what lets hooks sit flat instead of digging into the wall.

Accessories decide whether the system gets used

Panels alone do not merchandise anything. We supply gridwall hooks in 100 mm to 300 mm, straight shelves, waterfall arms, bin baskets and sign holders, all cut to the same pitch as the panel, and we send a fitting schedule so the shop team can rebuild the wall after a refit without guessing which hook went where.

Ordering from the factory

Send the wall or floor plan, the products and their weights, the panel heights you need and the delivery city, and we return a 3D layout, a panel and fitting schedule and a fixed quotation within two working days. Production takes 25 to 35 days, and we quote DDP so freight, duty and clearance sit inside one price rather than arriving as a second invoice at the port.

Send us four things and the quotation comes back faster: the wall or floor dimensions, the load per panel, the finish you want, and your opening date.
