Pallet Racking Systems: Custom Warehouse Racking From the Factory
We fabricate pallet racking, multi-tier shelving and cold storage racking in our own factory, so beam levels, flue space and impact protection are drawings you approve rather than assumptions made on site.
Start from the pallet, not the price
Every racking layout begins with four numbers: pallet footprint, loaded weight, lift height, and the truck you actually run. A 1200 x 1000 pallet at 1000 kg needs a different upright than the same pallet at 600 kg, and a reach truck needs a wider aisle than a counterbalance truck. We draw the aisle first, because aisle width is the one thing you cannot change later without emptying the building.
Uprights, beams and what one bay carries
We build uprights from cold-rolled steel in a bolted or welded frame, supply beams in pairs with a safety lock at each end, and schedule the load per level from your pallet weight rather than from a catalogue page. Where a level will be hand-picked as well as truck-loaded, we reduce the stated load and write that reduction on the drawing, so nobody loads to the wrong number six months later.
Double deep, flow through, and when they pay
Double deep gains roughly forty percent more positions in the same footprint, and gives up selectivity to get them. Flow through is the right answer for dated stock, because the pallet rolls to the picking face and rotation stops being a management problem. We build both, and we will also tell you when a plain wide-aisle layout is cheaper to run than either of them.
Safety is a drawing decision
Forklift damage is predictable, which means it can be designed around. We specify upright protectors at every corner aisle, set the bottom beam above fork height, and keep a 150 mm clearance from the frame to the wall for inspection. Where the building has sprinklers, the layout keeps the flue gap the system needs instead of filling the bay to look efficient.
Ordering from the factory
Send the pallet sizes and loaded weights, the clear height under the sprinkler, the truck type and the delivery city, and we return a 3D layout, a bay schedule and a fixed quotation within two working days. Production takes 25 to 35 days, and we quote DDP so freight, duty and clearance sit inside one price rather than arriving as a second invoice at the port.
Send us four things and the quotation comes back faster: pallet dimensions and loaded weight, the clear height, the number of positions you need, and your opening date.
